Emergency Medicine in Ireland
Ireland has 29 Emergency Departments across HSE and private facilities, with consistently high demand for locum EM consultants, registrars and SHOs at key hospitals including St James’s, Mater, Beaumont, CUH Cork, UHG Galway, UHL Limerick and UHW Waterford.
Training body: Irish Committee for Emergency Medicine Training (ICEMT). FCEM or an equivalent recognised qualification is required for consultant posts.
