Gastroenterologist & General Physician
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gastroenterology Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide expert medical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders and contribute to the ongoing development of our gastroenterology service.
👩💼 Key Responsibilities:
Conduct consultations, examinations, and procedures for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to develop accurate treatment plans.
Perform endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and teaching activities.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
🎓 Requirements:
Medical degree from a recognized institution.
Specialist training and certification in Gastroenterology.
Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or eligibility for registration.
Demonstrated experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
